Murray strated his career as an illustrator in the early 1970's, as an teenager working
at Johnson Publishing Company, the publishers of Ebony and Jet magazines.
Murray earned his bachelor of fine atrs degree in visual communications from the
Institute of Art, Chicago, Illinois. Reading to his four -year old daughter, Cheyanne ( in photo above), inspired him to illustrate children's books.
As a children picture book illustrator , syndicated cartoonist - political cartoonist, Murray has created comic books ( Adam & Eve A.D. ) with Kevin B. Eastman ( Ninja Turtles ) co-creator, Murray now does freelance cartoons for CNN / FOX news... and a many, many newspapers and Ad agencies around the world.
I'm a nationally syndicated cartoonist/ Children book illustrator writer and animator. My cartoons appears world-wide in magazines, newspapers and CNN and Foxnews.
